Quick birthday post

Last week was Ethan's 7th birthday and the weekend before we had his party. After sitting down with him and trying to figure out who he wanted to invite (all of his classroom, baseball team, and every neighborhood friend) there was too many to go ahead with the Chuck E Cheese plan cause that was $10 a kid. We ended up having it at the park across the street and it was fun.

There was about 25 kids that came, ran around and screamed and thank God it was only for 2 hours cause I'm not sure I could of handled much longer ;)! Uncle Mike flew in for the party (not really him and Brandon had already made plans for a get together it was a good excuse to stay all weekend though).

Gifts for days, he made out well

Gift time...

Gavin found one he wanted

The bike the grandparents all went in on

Can you tell what movie the "men" wanted to watch

Baseball (Gavin)

I have a free moment and thought I would upload Gavin's baseball pictures (don't want him to feel left out lol)

Michael Jordan in the making...

I took the cutest pictures of Gavin playing catcher with my Iphone but can't seem to find where they uploaded to. I have to take my midterm and then I'll search for it

Baseball (Ethan)

The kids have been playing baseball for about a month and have been having games every Saturday and either a Tuesday or Thursday. It has kept me busy cause you add in practice and homework time, I could scream! I had 2 days where I didn't have something scheduled on my calendar this month, 2 days!

Enough complaining here are some pictures from the boys games. I have already slacked on Ethan because in his league if we don't have a score keeper we forfeit the game, so guess who ended up doing it, yup ME!

Not the distance he was going for but it did the job

Run Ethan Run...

Whew, made it (Poor fella is so small compared to the other boys)

Ethan played pitcher (first half of the league is coach pitched) a line drive was hit his way and he stuck out his glove and caught the ball! First play of the season!

Making that play earned him the "Game Ball"

We're still working on the smile

Romo

I know that I have other things to blog about (the boys baseball games, Ethan's birthday party, etc, etc...) but I wanted to introduce you to Romo. We have been looking at dogs for a few years but weren't sure on what breed and whatnot. I have been watching Dog Town for awhile now and fell for the stories of the dogs. While looking through the adoption availability list I saw this face and fell in love...

Now I have to convince Brandon to move to a house with an actual yard, wish me luck! Isn't it ironic that his name is Romo?! A house full of die hard Cowboy fans and a dog names Romo, perfect match, in my opinion :)

Lost Christmas pictures

I finally unloaded my memory card and was cracking up at the pictures. I haven't cleared my card since early December or so. There were pictures from our Christmas trip back home to Texas and the ones of the rest stop had me going back and remembering that crazy night. Here are a few that without words simply explain what I mean.

Then the boys decided that they were going to call Papa Tom cause they wanted to go back to his house

And here is what I was doing WHILE I WAS DRIVING...

The dead bugs on the windshield was an extra bonus

What a way to keep my eyes on the road huh?

My child

Gavin made an "about me" in class and this is what he came home with...

Lets take a closer look...

Red hair? I asked why didn't he use brown and he said too many others used it so he wanted to be different : )

And this is how I know it's my child...
